Reflecting back on 2019, we have had a really busy year. We launched our online shop, moved into St Enoch Centre which brought us proper retail space, Emma (Sales and Marketing Manager) joined our team, our Volunteer Programme continued to grow with more structured opportunities including our Shop Manager Internship (welcome Maxine) and we diversified into casual kids wear.
So not only can you get your school aged children’s uniform, you can get jackets, trousers, tops, jumpers, footwear and bags in our store and on line.
(And we made loads of progress including testing a new membership service, more on that one another day 😉.)
One huge achievement, not yet mentioned, was achieving our Revolve Reuse Quality Standard certification. This certification it independently audited by Zero Waste Scotland (www.zerowastescotland.org.uk) and proves to our customers
- that we go through rigorous processes to check the quality of all our products before they go on display. This is really important to make sure you are buying something which is just as good as new.
- That we put our customers first. We meet all trading standards requirements and we have our Customer Charter which means we provide excellent customer services.
Achieving this certification, we are one of nearly 200 stores across Scotland who reach the same standards and who want to make sure that people in Scotland, think Second Hand is First Choice. And we want you to come to ApparelXchange before you buy something new.
