Knowledge is Empowerment

Knowledge is Empowerment

On the one hand it is great to see so much attention to climate change, polluting industries and the social and environmental injustices of our global society. We have been aware of this for a long time and been frustrated at the lack of priority environmental and social policies have had within politics.

The time has come to put our fragile planet first.

But it is also really scary. If there is something that keeps me awake at night, it is the state of our planet, the future for our children, the impacts on the bio-diversity which underpin all balanced and productive ecosystems.

But we can make a difference and we have the power to do so. The more we know the more we can use that knowledge to make choices which matter. Knowledge is empowerment. We can’t unread or un-see what is happening. We can be horrified and we can act.

This is why we are working with Fashion Revolution, Cine Mor 77 and Take One Action to have a community screening of True Cost.

Join us for the film, a panel discussion and finding out what you can do next.
