The Service

Our Clothing and Footwear Package Service is at the core of our social mission; we offer free clothing packages to families across Glasgow who need some extra support. From school uniform to casual everyday wear, those who access this service can find an amazing collection of second-hand kids clothing and footwear that is great quality and from brands we trust.

Our Clothing Packages Service is subsidised using public and private funding. We also use our own resources to cover the costs of preparing and distributing our packages.

Since 2018

We have provided over 4313 second-hand clothing packages to children and families across Glasgow, ensuring brilliant quality preloved kids and teen fashion finds good homes with folk who need them.

Good Quality Clothes

Having access to good quality clothes and footwear is often overlooked by many of us. However, finding things like school uniform and everyday items can be challenge for families. This is why your donations are so important.

Making The Most of Clothing

The lifespan of clothing doesn't end when our wee ones grow out of them. Even if they're damaged or stained. We accept clothing and footwear donations in all conditions to ensure every item is reused or recycled through our partners.

A Parent's Story

Maria*, originally from Namibia, came to Glasgow in 2024 with her four children, aged between 1 and 17, having been previously housed in Bedford.

She was really thankful for our packages, as she didn't find that the state support she received was enough to cover clothing costs.

Her family particularly appreciated the footwear, and the jackets - Maria said that "Scotland is beautiful, but very wet", so the right clothing for the weather is particularly important.

Another Parent's Story

Rose*, originally from Nigeria, has been in Scotland since 2014, having arrived in the UK in 2007.

Her children are aged 2 and 20, and she received a clothing package from us for her toddler, provided by our partners Merry-go-round.

As a single mum, she really apprecated the excellent support network in Scotland, finding it very family-friendly.

Since then, she has gone on to study social work so that she can give back to the community and help others.
