As most of you all know we have been in the process of opening our new retail unit at the St. Enoch Centre, Glasgow. This has been a great achievement for the business as we are growing daily, making a difference and raising consumer awareness about the importance of buying pre loved garments.
When we received the keys, the unit was nowhere near the aesthetic, theme or vibe we wanted to create for the brand. The ApparelXchange team all mucked into clean, tidy, paint and build. We are women who are not afraid to get stuck in to a challenge... with help from everyone at Glasgow Wood Recycling Project, Spruce Carpets and a few very handy and extremely kind friends, we began the journey to create our new city centre store.
We opted for a stripped back natural look with lots of wood and plants as a hint to nature and our committment to keeping planet Earth healthy. Thanks to Glasgow Wood Recycling Project for the days labour they donated, helping to create the perfect backdrop.
Over the next few weeks we have friend and talented illustrator Ruth Craddock (@asketchystory) coming into work her magic on our walls – so watch this space as we grow into something BRAND NEW to retail!
